Come to Quiet Waters. Come meet with God.

Life is busy. Too busy. We all need time away to simply be. Resting, thinking... praying.

At Quiet Waters we provide an opportunity for Christians to seek God in a quiet and safe environment that both enables and encourages the personal freedom to experience God's love and peace. Nestling in the beautiful Waveney Valley along the Norfolk and Suffolk border we offer a warm welcome, wholesome home-cooked meals and a comfortable home to relax in.

Retreats & Workshops

At Quiet Waters, we offer a variety of experiences designed to nurture your Christian journey in peaceful surroundings. Whether you prefer the gentle rhythm of an Individual Retreat, the shared experience of a Led Retreat, or the inspiration of our Creative Workshops, there is space here for you to rest, reflect, and reconnect with God. Our Individual Retreats follow the simple daily rhythm of Quiet Waters’ twice-daily devotions, with time in between for solitude and prayer. Our Led Retreats run throughout the year and explore a range of themes, often with opportunities for 1:1 conversation alongside the structured programme. For those drawn to creativity, our Creative Workshops often take place in the serene setting of our woodland Creative Space “log cabin,” providing a peaceful environment for individuals or small groups to explore their God-given creative gifts, or to bring their own creative projects to life.

To book any of these events please email or call us on 01986 893 201. View more details and costs using the links below:

Stunning Views of Quiet Waters

We are very thankful to The Bible Society for the Psalm 23 Garden resources they have put together. We are now developing a trail of the reflections for our guests to discover and enjoy in our gardens, something we have wanted to do for a while. We hope many guests will meet with our God and be blessed through these reflections.

I felt very well looked after, loved, welcomed and TOTALLY cared for which I find very moving as it's something I don't receive much so THANK YOU all for your outstanding hospitality. AM, Norwich

I arrived with an open mind and leave with an open heart. God found me in my daily meditation, in the song of the trees, the wonderful company, conversation, sharing, delicious food, in the quiet stillness of being, and loving gratitude. IR, Norfolk

You have created an inviting, unobtrusive, gentle space which inevitably invites the presence of God. The essence and sense of God is everywhere and this completely fed into my time with the Lord wherever I was in the house and garden. DP, Cambridge
